Another woohoo!

Scott received a phone call from his work today saying that Abby has been selected to receive the top scholarship from Brunswick with a value of $2500. I was so happy! All of her hard work and drive to make good grades and finish at the top of her class is definitely paying off. I am so proud of her! Congratulations, Sis!

Sure signs of spring

Yep, it must be spring! The baseball field in the front yard is freshly mown and the neighbor boys are ready to play! This is a picture of Scott, Matt, Kenny and Kevin getting ready to practice. This will be the sight (every night that it's not raining) from now until it turns cold. The boys just cannot wait to start playing, and with their summer season starting in less than a month they'd better get in all the practice they can. This is one of the perks of having a huge front yard - built in fun any time!

Congrats to Abby...

She just found out that she is being awarded the Melva Palmer Ellis Scholarship! Woohoo!! She was a little nervous about the interview when she found out she was a finalist for it, but the interview went great and she is getting the scholarship. She goes to a luncheon tomorrow at the Rotary Club to accept it. I am so very proud of her and all that she is has accomplished.

Abby's senior picture

Here is one of Abby's senior pictures. Thanks to Leah Savage Photography for doing such a beautiful job with her pictures. I can't believe that my little girl will be graduating in less than a month and be off to MSU in the fall. Boy what a change that will be for all of us!

It's official...

I've started a blog. It's something I've wanted to do for a while, but never got around to it. We've had a lot going on with the kids and I want to get the stories down so I'll have them when I get a chance to scrapbook them. I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing - so I'll learn as I go!
