LM #394 - Hearts

Hello again! I am back with my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Counterfeit Kit Challenge mini kit reveal, please scroll down.

It's time for a new challenge at Lasting Memories! Our theme for May is "Variety of Shapes" and this week we are wanting to see you use one or more hearts on your layout.

So, Ada had been seeing commercials (and watching Youtube videos) for Num-Noms Snackable Cereal and thought that she might "need" them. The next time we went to town we found them and I asked her if she would like to get one, to which she replied - yes! She knew all about how to do them (thanks to the Youtube videos) so we filled the little bowl with water and waited for the "special one" to dissolve out of the little fizzy ball. She thought they were really cute and had quite a bit of fun playing with them - at least for that day. They are currently still sitting on the edge of the bathroom sink where she left them and it is now three months later! Thank goodness she wasn't too taken with them - at $8.88 they were a little pricey!

For this layout, I used a sketch from Scrapbook Generations latest class - 6x6 Paper Pads 2 with Allison Davis. I love this ebook! It is a fantastic resource to have - 86 total sketches all using 6x6 papers - and I am so excited to work my way through each one!

Head on over to Lasting Memories to see the beautiful - heart filled - layouts from the rest of the design team. We would love to see you playing along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

  1. Terrific color match to her shirt with your choice of papers! And the rounded hearts balance and add interest compared to the straight lines in the photos and journaling section! Thanks for sharing, Lori!
